A significant police search is underway for four teenagers who went missing throughout a camping trip to north Wales.

Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Henderson and Hugo Morris have been thought to have have been travelling in the Harlech and Porthmadog areas of Gwynedd once they vanished on Sunday morning.

North Wales Police imagine the teenagers had gone camping in the Snowdonia space.

They have been final seen in a silver Ford Fiesta, registration HY14 GVO.

The mom of Harvey, Crystal Owen, instructed the BBC: I’m frantically apprehensive, we haven’t slept a wink, we’re determined to chase any lead we will.

“If I’d have recognized [where he was going] I wouldn’t have let him because of the winter climate circumstances. They’re all delicate, clever lads and we’re simply hoping they parked up, bought misplaced and are OK.”

Undated handout photographs of the four teenagers have been issued by North Wales Police, which is interesting for any sightings to be reported, quoting reference A184194.
